Using our "Get it @ K-State" service, the Citation Linker allows you to search for full text articles directly from your citations.
E-Reserves
The Reserves unit in Hale can help you put electronic course materials in K-State Online.
Google Scholar Preferences
Add K-State Libraries by searching "Kansas State" in the Library Links box.
Interlibrary Services (ILS)
Request items that K-State Libraries does not own through ILS. This department provides additional services for faculty and for distance or continuing education students.
Library Instruction
The Library Instruction unit provides in-person instruction and is currently developing an online instruction program.
LibX Toolbar
LibX is a Firefox extension that connects the K-State Libraries catalog with sites like Amazon. Click on the Powercat to see if K-State Libraries has a copy of the book and save yourself some money.
New Books RSS Feeds
See what new books are coming out in your area. You can also request custom feeds based on your research interests or the topics being covered in your courses.
RefWorks
RefWorks allows users to create bibliographies quickly and easily. From RefWorks, you can download Write-n-Cite and use RefShare. RefWorks users may find K-State Libraries' Tips and Tricks blog helpful.

Research Help @ K-State Libraries is the Libraries' presence in K-State Online.
Scanners
Use the scanners in Hale Library to create digital copies of materials for your courses.
Subject Specialists
Subject specialists create web-based subject and course guides for their departments. These guides can be personalized for your course with tools like instant messaging, customized search engines, and new materials feeds. Examples: Kinesiology and Art. If your course has a face-to-face component, you can also ask your subject specialist to visit your classroom, or bring your class to the library for an instruction session.
VPN Client
Though not a library-specific service, K-State's VPN Client can be used to more seamlessly access library resources from off-campus. Download the client onto your machine and you won't have to log in every time you access an electronic resource.
