This class will provide an overview of: (1) the type of information the OPAC contains (Patron Record Info, Bib, holdings, and item info); (2) how to use the OPAC's three search interfaces; (3) strategies for searching the OPAC for known items and for unknown items; (4) how to read an OPAC record; and (5) specific problems patrons have with the OPAC and how to solve them.
